Kris Kristofferson turned 85 today

Yeah, the rest of it pretty much sucks.

I also forgot Nelson and the only newer good one, Stapleton.

Does it hurt your feelings that I know so much about a genre of music I generally don't like?
Yeah, you're pretty much retarded.

I don't like country music except all these country music artists.

Don't ever change Milky.

As I said, the vast majority of it sucks. I named a drop in the bucket are ones I kinda like.

Never remove your sucker from my ball-bag.

Older than I thought. He's one of the greatest songwriters of all time, a Rhodes Scholar, was on the cover of Sports Illustrated in the 50's and had a pretty successful acting career(I've never actually saw one of his movies, but he got a lot of work, so I can't say if he was a good or bad actor, but he was successful)

And he discovered who might be my all time favorite musician(impossible to definitively rank, but definitely in the discussion), John Prine and Steve Goodman on the same night in Chicago.

makes me want to watch

I hate almost all Country music, but never minded Kristofferson, Cash, Williams ... and Parton ... Fight me.
You don’t like Waylon Jennings, Mere Haggard, Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark or Jerry Jeff Walker, but like Dolly?

You’re running out of man cards to take away

Correct. Clark was a great guitarist, but I don't care for his music. Dolly was fucking hot.

I have limitless man cards.

I’d be surprised if a non country fan was familiar with Guy Clark. He was big in the early Austin, TX scene. He too was a great guitarist and songwriter, but I think you’re thinking of Roy

Dolly the person is better than Dolly the musician IMO

I'm a big fan of Unknown Hinson. The guy writes all his songs but is more of a cult figure.
