Not sure what the context was in Always Sunny, but greased watermelon in the pool was always a end of swim season activity when I was growing up. Not easy to be the one that pulls it up from 12ft.

Selling and shipping all my LEGO sets is turning into a part time job. I know more about USPS shipping rates based on size and weight than I ever wanted.

But I'm currently at a 400+% Profit, so there's that.

Shipping is a huge rip off

and even your ebay discount depends on size and weight. Some of my packages today were 40% off Priority making it the cheapest option... change the box size an inch and the discount drops to 20%. Really fucking odd.

do you sell them already built, are they unwrapped sets, why the decision to sell?

Many of them were bought and kept unopened for the express purpose of selling for a profit. I've only sold one so far that was assembled and the guy requested it remain that way when I shipped it. I would have kept it, but it was worth 4x what I paid for it and I like money more than looking at that Star Wars LEGO. Very few assembled or used sets are worth much more than their original sticker. There are crazy people out there that buy some sets just to pull the Clone minifigs out to add to their giant Clone minifig army. I sold 2 sets that I bought on clearance for $9 each for $140 each. No real reason for selling except that I think many of my sets are nearing their limit. My brain can't properly process somebody paying $140 for a 140 piece LEGO set, so I'm cashing out.

Getting ready to sell my personal library. Your experience is interesting.

I know I stated in another thread recently that I don't really have anxiety about anything... I can now remember the last time I had anxiety... shipping a $600 LEGO set along with 7 other shipments and that one being the only one to not update it's tracking info. Scan my package you lazy union motherfuckers.
