Lagers or Ales

It's not even close. Ales taste better AND are easier to make. It's like comparing olive garden to the best mom and pop Italian place around.

Yeah, that's why I like 3 ales for taste or 12 lagers to get polished.

I'm fully aware of abv.

I prefer beer with a lot of flavor, so ales win out. However, there are some tasty bock style lagers out there, and I usually will buy them when I see something that sounds good.

I love lagers and will say that the only ale worth its salt is Tennet's served at room temp in a Scottish pub. IPAs are to beer as the Yugo was to automotive excellence.

I'll drink em both, whatever ya got. Sometimes a lager pairs really well with the food or occasion, like at a cookout in the summer.
