Fox also didn't say it was COVID. Maybe cause of death hasn't been officially announced, but I think it's safe to assume he was still in the Hospital.

He had been diagnosed with COVID, was hospitalized for it, cured, cleared and released. I'm not sure it's easy to assign a single cause of death, since the guy had been wracked with health problems long before coronavirus was a thing. The guy had prostate and lung cancer, a heart attack, stroke (leading to a coma) and was a type II diabetic.
He was the celebrity interviewer for a time, and was seen as relatively friendly and an easy interview for most guests. I understand the popularity, just he never appealed to me either. I certainly wasn't going to watch him on RT news.
