My mom told us she is going to retire at the end of January. She was getting annoyed with the job. She's just going to keep track of books for my step dad's business full time now. She can visit my brother all she wants now, though, since she could really do that anywhere.

Also, assuming I start producing offspring, it'll be a nice baby sitter.

A babysitter is a necessity when you decide to have kids.....that's a solid win.
