Just keep the relationship with the babysitter on the downlow. Wives are somehow oblivious to it.

I also recommend using a babysitter that isn't your mom, unless you plan on moving to WV.

My cat hasn't been drinking much of his water since he moved in here a few weeks ago. I think I finally figured out what's going on.

The washer in the basement feeds to a, basically, hole in the ground. He's probably been drinking out of that.

Good morning good people. I had a great weekend. EXCEPT, my son and granddaughter came down with Covid. His wife is a doctor, so I presume it came in the house that way. She got her shot about 10 days ago in her hospital. Neither is hospitalized, so I guess they'll recover.

I have a busy week ahead for me. Again I will attempt to get my cat in the carrier for surgery tomorrow. This time it'll work or I'll just club him over the head.

Unusually warm over the weekend. Then I heard it's a possibility that we'll got a light snowfall this week. Maybe.

Thought for the day: If things get bad, this too will pass. Maybe like a kidney stone, but it'll pass.
 
my dad will actually be in town for his birthday which is week after new years, so looking to have him over for dinner

I messed up the popovers. They didn’t pop up as much as they should have. Going to give them another go this week.

Prime rib turned out good though. Going to use some of the leftovers tonight in a prime rib hash.

My kids are at home, so I probably won’t get much done. But I am working. Worked most of yesterday as well. Turns out people’s problems tend to get worse over the holidays.
