Should the LDS be 7 games? Or is a five-game series enough to fairly advance a winner?

Good data point. My retort would be that way too many teams get into the nba playoffs compared to baseball. And that there is much more parity in the mlb than the nba.

tbh, i wasn't referencing any data. Just my perspective from my personal enjoyment. The NBA has comically low parity + i think expanding their playoff format hurt the possibility of upsets.
