I'll give the Ducks credit. They ran into a buzzsaw but at least kept fighting and made it at least somewhat interesting in the early 3rd. They could have just as easily laid down.
That said, lol at OD.

#1 OREGON - 42
#8 Ohio State - 21
Better than 2010?Everyone should get to laugh at laying a 34-0 egg by the second quarter in the program's best year ever
Welp, I'll never get to pile on any team.Personally, I think only fans of teams that had a better season than Oregon should be allowed to pile on
I was going to argue SMU because Oregon's QB didn't throw two pick sixes in the first quarter.Everyone should get to laugh at laying a 34-0 egg by the second quarter in the program's best year ever
The number one seed of a 12-team playoff arguably had the worst showing of any team![]()
Does this mean that the Blue Blood welcome party has been canceled?
Sets a bad precedent IMO. The shit talk is part of what makes sports, especially CFB so great. If you’re potentially facing a year’s worth of ridicule for talking shit and your team losing, it might be a deterrent for shit talking and this board would be a more boring space
You can't hide money.Afraid so, gonna have to call Applebee's to cancel the catering order.
Talking about a tale of two halves.
Personally, I think only fans of teams that had a better season than Oregon should be allowed to pile on
Fuck you. buddyFirst of all, I was rooting for Oregon to win the game. I even wore a tye-dyed long sleeve t-shirt I bought at the Saturday Eugene Market on my trip to Oregon in 2019 for good luck.
FWIW, when I attended the 2010 Rose Bowl, I rooted for the Buckeyes that day!Fuck you. buddy
Ridiculous take. Oregon outmuscled all but one b1g team they playedFirst of all, I was rooting for Oregon to win the game. I even wore a tye-dyed long sleeve t-shirt I bought at the Saturday Eugene Market on my trip to Portland-Corvallis-Eugene, Oregon in 2019 for good luck.
However, when I went to dinner in Buckhead after the Peach Bowl, one of the Bar Servers looked up when it was 31-0 Ohio State, laughed and said: "Oregon is playing like a Pac team!" Dude was a transplanted New Yorker and followed the B1G - not a born and bred SEC guy. Made me laugh out loud. Oregon won the B1G, but they are not B1G tough yet. I suppose they will get there one day, but they didnt have it on NYD at the Rose Bowl.
Texas has some work to do if they want to hang with the Buckeyes. For the life of me, I still have no idea how this team (OSU) lost to Michigan and finished 4th in the B1G. Not sure why Texas didn't try to punish ASU by running the ball all day long. The Longhorns had two big plays early in the game, then puckered up until late in the game. Maybe they were playing it close to the vest? If so, almost back-fired, because Skattebo happened!
