Big day, fans!

Too bad about those Phillies. 🪦

I’ll be right there w you if we have a let down tonight. We’ve got Skubal loaded for game 5, but it would be a lot cooler if we could save him for early in the ALCS.

came into the office to a reactor trip...great way to start the day

Power out at the farm & generator on. Come back to my house & front door won't open. The latch assembly decided to finally screw up. Bit of a pain but it's out. Amazon is delivering the new one for me to install. Guess it's garage entry & exit for now.

Only way we go into house is garage

Our shoes are there

For me, garage is my most common gateway to my house, but not far behind it is the sliding door from den to deck. I use it often as my primary gateway to my back yard and is the primary gateway for my dogs. Front door is third. Fourth is the door from kitchen to upper deck which usually only gets used in the summer when we're grilling out or hopping in the pool.

The wife and I have been discussing and conceptualizing possibly demolishing our upper deck and replacing it with a greenhouse-style house expansion/enclosure/room that encompasses a new pool so we can use it more than three months out of the year. If that happens, that door would subsequently be used more frequently than our front door.

We only use the back door of the garage. Unless we are cleaning it, we rarely open the garage doors. Garage is just a big storage area. We never park in it.
what a waste

The only thing I store besides our vehicles in my garage is a stockpile of wood for our fireplace and there's a refrigerator for beverages next to the door to the house. We have a designated firewood wall and there's a cabinet between the garage and den next to the fireplace with access doors on both sides that we stage the wood for fireplace usage. Staging and loading wood into the fireplace is convenient, comfortable and clean; it's a really nice setup.

One thing in Michigan, if your married and have a garage, wife parks in it. Secret to 30 years of not hearing about having a garage and snow blah blah blah.

We have a 2 car garage. Tractor, snow thrower, work bench, freezer and place for gardening shit.

And wife's car

Door to our deck is used but mainly to let dog out. Same with front. Even going in back yard i usually go through garage cause....shoes

Yeah but I don't really want to do much with this place. Should be paid off in the near future and if the 2 other stepkids transfer like they say, we really can look to move. Probably keep it as a rental to family or just vacant & storage as wife will probably have to keep an OH address for her work.

I've got a 2-car attached garage and a (technically) four-car detached garage with two separate overhead garage doors. I allow my offspring or a visitor to park in the detached garage on demand. I have plenty of space in there for bikes, trailers, workbench, tractor, snow thrower, tools, storage, etc. Behind that garage is an extra concrete slab with another smaller overhead door for rear garage access. I use that slab mainly for excess firewood storage, but also use it as a tee box for hole #1 of the disc golf course I built on my (and part of my neighbor's) property (that he otherwise wasn't using).

That extra garage was a huge selling point when I bought the house.
