Let's Talk Bowl Season...

I've thought about the Miss St-Illinois game, but I'm getting two Christmas grandbabies this year, one before and one after, so I'm not sure the time will present itself. I've hit a few Hall of Fame/Outback Bowls, but only the Alabama/Michigan game and the recent Auburn Outback Bowls(son went to Auburn). Same with the Citrus if either is playing. My daughter went to FSU, so I might have hit the Cheez-It this year, but she is due in early January in Tenn, so not gonna happen.
Congrats on the new carpet critters.

Do Iowa teams not rep well, ever? I always know when Iowa is in a Tampa bowl, because while there are a few Iowa Snowbirds, it is an outright invasion for bowl week. I'm sure it has been the same in Orlando for the last couple of Iowa State games.
They both rep for Bowl Games very well.
I just meant that I was not one of the fans repping ISU that year in NYC.

I've Bowled with the Cyclones four times:

1978 Hall of Fame @ Legion Field vs. Texas A&M (first ISU game)
2001 Independence vs. Alabama
2012 Liberty vs. Tulsa
2017 Liberty vs. Memphis

My main issue since I moved back to Iowa is that if I want to Bowl with the Cyclones, it's a pain in the butt to get a flight reservation once the announcement is made. Plus, I have always liked the randomness of just picking a Bowl and going to it pot luck.

Felt appropriate to put this here,

but it still feels so fucking weird to be getting national championship ticket request emails from the Athletic Department
@MAIZEandBLUE09

How much is face value on the CFP Championship tickets?
Just curious?
Go Blue!

I know, I was just saying Iowa teams always rep well everywhere they go.

I've moved around a lot, so mine is more location specific, I've mostly gone to bowl games where I've lived. My first was the 1990 Peach Bowl Auburn & Indiana...ex-wife is from a Barner family.

I've not seen nearly as many games or bowls as you have, but I've seen some good ones.

I've been blessed to see Alabama play for the title 4 times(won 3) starting with the 92 Sugar Bowl.

Jackson State ties it up 34 all w 0:00 on the clock.
