Steve Sarkisian should be on this list.. he kicked half the team from last year off.. started 2 true freshmen along the OL. Took a portal QB that people were calling Tate Martell and has been undefeated with him in the lineup..

It certainly helps he has faced a historically bad B1G West. It's never great but it's really bad this year. In normal years, he loses to Iowa, Wisconsin, and probably even Minnesota. The only East team he has faced they lost. (Indiana)
 
One could make a decent case for bout all of em to this point TBH and that’s good, the next…. 3-4 weeks will make it even clearer and narrow the list but.. pretty cool story so far, a lot of worthy coaches so far.

Still, it's Illinois that has been historically Vandy, Kansas bad.

I was gonna say we Huskers appreciate y’all putting together a list of coaches for us to consider, but then someone mentioned the Ferentz’s so fuck that shit.
 
Lincoln Riley should get some COY love...USC was 4-8 last year.
