Surprised to see no threads up for this one. It doesn't get a wide release until later this year. Looks like an excellent return to form for Paul Thomas Anderson after what I feel were his two worst movies Inherent Vice and Phantom Thread. The movie apparently has a bit of Boogie Nights feel to it. It also stars the Philip Seymour Hofffman's son in his first movie.

Them some ugly people for a movie. Not even Hollywood ugly. Just regular folk nothing special bland ass people.

Great movie. Might be the best of the year, either this or The Last Duel.

Definitely the best PTA movie since The Master. I'd imagine the subject matter will unsettle some people but it was such a well written and directed movie. Excellent soundtrack as well. Best soundtrack for a movie since Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.

While it wasn't necessarily a comedy it had some really funny parts throughout.

hope it's good, haven't been sold on a lot of the top movies i've seen with best picture credentials, but that's pretty much every year.
