Lincoln Riley really robbing everybody

It looks like Caleb Williams may be who has been recruiting Addison. Apparently, they know each other. Players are allowed to recruit other players.

Additionally, in an interview, Narduzzi said that Notre Dame tried to recruit his QB last year, but he chose to blame ''back channels'' rather than Brian Kelly.

Sooners fans have so much sand in their vaginas, their just running with stuff instead of actually waiting for the full story.

I have no problem with Lincoln Riley running his program this way. You have to be cutthroat if you want to keep up with the SEC and Ohio State. Alabama recruits star players off other teams on a regular basis now. However, it's kind of funny when you consider Lincoln Riley's pearl clutching over NIL after Oregon landed Conerly.

Its not just Sooner fans they see Riley as a douche. It's pretty much nationwide if you watch first take or any of the other sports news shows. Riley is Kevin Durant 2.0.
Zero chance it is "nation wide" -- OU is a great school, but college football is all about recruiting today, and USC is much easier to recruit to with it being located in a talent rich state.

OU fans will see it when USC has a higher ranked class every year going forward.

lol

That's interesting...considering it's only Sooners fans crying.

Didn't see where he even commented on Conerly.

check his comments the next day. Crying about schools exploiting NIL and such

I googled "Lincoln Riley Josh Conerly comments" and not 1 article on the first page had a quote from Riley about anything, including an Oregon site and an Oklahoma site.

Then I googled "Lincoln Riley NIL comments" and only found this:

“It’s completely changed it,” Riley said Saturday. “In every sense of the word, it’s different. There was no doubt it was going to seep into recruiting at some point,” Riley said. “I think anybody that cares about college football is not real pleased with that because that wasn’t the intention, we all get that. A lot of people voiced concerns when NIL came up that there had to be a plan for that, and instead we instituted NIL without any plan for that, so that’s why we’re at where we’re at. I’m sure at some point there’s going to be a market correction, if you will, with recruiting. Hopefully there will be, because in a perfect world they stay separate.”

Never says anything about Conerly and that's pretty much what he said about NIL all along. Many coaches have had similar comments.

Here's what Nick Saban recently said:

“The concept of name, image and likeness was for players to be able to use their name, image and likeness to create opportunities for themselves. That’s what it was,” Saban said. “So last year on our team, our guys probably made as much or more than anybody in the country.”

“But that creates a situation where you can basically buy players,” Saban said. “You can do it in recruiting. I mean, if that’s what we want college football to be, I don’t know. And you can also get players to get in the transfer portal to see if they can get more someplace else than they can get at your place.”

nobody said he mentioned conerly. I said Lincoln Riley started Pearl clutching about NIL after Oregon landed Conerly. I’m sure the timing was just a coincidence 😂

So you didn't have shit as usual.

Typical Duck fan bullshit. It's why you guys get mocked. You're all OD.

What pearl clutching did he do? He's basically said the same thing as most other coaches and it tracks with his comments prior to that.

I said from the beginning his comments were about NIL. You misread my post and assumed he mentioned Conerly

You also claimed his comments were only after Conerly chose Oregon, which was not true. He said the same thing he's said all along. So, yet another Duck fail. Congrats.

I claimed he was Pearl clutching after Oregon landed Conerly. You’re having a tough day when it comes to reading comprehension.

April 8th - Oregon lands Conerly
April 9th - Lincoln Riley talks about how NIL shouldn’t be a part of recruiting

I guess he changed his mind since promising Caleb big money to transfer to USC and then changed his mind once again when he offered Addison millions to transfer to USC

I claimed he was Pearl clutching after Oregon landed Conerly. You’re having a tough day when it comes to reading comprehension.

And I pointed out that he has said the same thing about NIL all along.

You should really quit while you're behind. Buit you won't because your a Ducks fan ansd embarrassing yourselves is kinda your gig.

Lincoln Riley being against using NIL to recruit is like Adam Sandler being against slapstick humor

Wow, you're really bringing the stupid today. He never said he was against NIL. He said NIL should be separate from recruiting and he's right.
