Interesting move by the Vikings. Their current TE, Smith, is out with a high ankle sprain and will miss a few weeks. So, this is a high quality replacement.

I actually kinda feel bad for you and other Lions fans. I mocked the Lions for drafting a TE with the 8th overall pick. Latest report says he'd be out 8-10 weeks anyway. Hockenson is a good get for the VIkings.
Another year, another first round pick gone. Lions are on a non stopping carousel of futility, a constant rebuild/tear down state. I'm so sick of it.
