Especially if you're stupid.
lol People are putting these in their boats! :L

And you can't put the fuckers out except with a special kind of metal-fire extinguisher.

Got one of these in the garage?

I have seen a couple boats explode because they didn't vent properly when filling the tank.

so...I'd say there are good amount of boat owners who shouldn't own boats that run on gasoline.

lithium batteries are much less likely to be an issue than gasoline, IMO

just bought a set for my fishing boat in NJ...the battery always seems to die

the marine battery actually blew up on my dad on time...that's scary.

so yea, marine batteries catch fire too

All those EL CHEAPO Chinese "knock-offs" that keep getting recalled periodically.

Like those "Hoverboards" a few years back that got banned from being sold on ebay and amazon because they kept catching fire.

Fuck...that reminds me my kid has one of those in the house. The batts are probably dead anyway though.

No electronics, dammit
if you are talking about a little day sailer, then yea, no room for a battery.

but if you have a 30-ft sailboat, you are going to want some electricity on there...and a motor for when there ain't no wind.

I had a JY15 maybe 10 yrs ago...fun to sail, but no good if no wind.

Gee, I wonder how ever did the old boys do it. Go retro, kid.
