LoL at Kroger's dumb ass

Publix used to be Florida only, but they're all over the south now. I know this because of the job orientation for that time I worked at a Publix for a few months in high school. Hated that place. Haven't been clean shaven since I quit.

Ah yes, thank you. Publix is what I was thinking of.. My aunt lives in Florida so back in the day we would go there but haven't been in 15-20 years

Wegman's is my grocery go to store now.. Clean, fresh produce and have made dinner time so easy... Buy meals and put in over and set it and forgot it. Prep work all taken care of

Closest Kroger to me is in McComb, Ms.

I honestly thought they went bankrupt several years ago....may have just reorganized the company. Years and years ago, they were the main grocery chain here too.....then they all closed. My BIL was a manager of Kroger. He left them to go to Walmart because his Kroger store was closed. That was 35 years ago.

Not sure about where y'all live but around these parts, if you ever find yourself in a Piggly Wiggly, you are in a bad part of town. Hope you're packing! Hahahaha
Definitely...the one in my hometown wasn't necessarily in a "bad" part of town, but the clientele were usually on the lower end of the income scale. The Kroger in my hometown was where the rich folks shopped.

We were a Bi-Lo family.

What is that?
A smaller chain that used to be based in South Carolina. They're only in the Carolinas and parts of Florida, which is where their new HQ is. Their old logo used to have this huge cow in place of the hyphen, but now it's got some gay leaf:

That’s not true in Birmingham and at the Homewood one on Wed’s they have fried catfish that will make a puppy pull a freight train.

The meat dept at my hometown store looked just like this:

Bisexual on the lowdown?

Oh wait...I see now.

We knew what you meant

Edit... It does show correctly in replies
Yeah, it just takes out the blank spaces when I post it. I started to do that thing where you put in the disappearing text but I got tired.

Yeah, I haven't bothered to try anything else. I'm sure there are ways (like there are around word filters), but I don't feel like trying to figger it out.

They bought Harris Teeter among others also. So if you're just searching Kroger you're going to miss quite a few of their stores.
