LOL @ Florida

Is it going to be consistently cold enough down there for that? This winter seems mild AF.
Year, it should be. Only a couple days above freezing, most night in teens & low 20's. Should be able to build several inches in the next two weeks, if the snow stays away.

If not, I'll head to south dakota or Minnesota a few times.

Finally got a ladder big enough for the living room actually.

we got those battery operated window shades. Let’s just say they’ve been perm shut for about 2 years now.

I'm still confused as to what a "ladder guy" is...

In underground circles it’s a burglar who gets into anywhere he wants (usually office buildings) simply by carrying around a ladder.

Often times the people you are about to rob will literally hold the door open for you.

Ladder guys. Very respected in the burglar circles.

Do you remember that show on Discovery called To Catch a Thief? I think they took it off the air because it was literally giving people tips on how to rob someone's house.

I found that show interesting. Learned to bolt my gun safe to the floor otherwise they will just take the whole fucking thing

LOL! Like you've got a gun safe, or even guns.

Another failed attempt by yourself to make you look manly, which you are not.

Dueling threads eh

Meh

The Florida thing to do would be to go anal cavity.

Or in a fake gator

What should be the purpose of a jail/prison sentence?

There are many answers, but mine would be something like: "to pull the criminal out of their criminal element and put them in a position to rehabilitate and become a future functioning member of society."

If a guy is trying to smuggle drugs into prison, he's clearly not rehabilitating. Why do we keep burning $100+/day/inmate of tax money on people who refuse to/cannot rehabilitate?

 @ that stupid haircut.

Actually smuggling it in a live gator would be more FL

but what to do with them?
I've never been involved in the prison system first-hand, so I have very few good/realistic answers.

From a societal cost perspective, it just doesn't make sense to sentence someone to life in prison without the possibility of parole or multiple life sentences. What we're doing is: "we're going to spend $50,000/year of our tax dollars so you can rot in a cage until you die." A 20 year old living 60 years like that would cost us $3,000,000 over the remainder of his life... ...for one inmate.

I am so on the fence about everything. I once heard its cheaper to lock them away then to kill them because the cost of all the appeals.

so then dont fuck around with it - do it expeditiously - but we can't kill innocent people without due process..
