Putting non-violent criminals in jail is generally just a waste of time. Make them pay other reparations if necessary, but jail rarely serves its intended purpose.
 
I had one coworker and a work acquaintance move to Florida in the last year. Were eligible for early retirement and peaced out.
The coworker and her hubs are crazy about cruises so they just decided to be in driving distance to a port.
