So they finally recognize its time to move on from Mayfield, with a front office official quoted as saying they need an “adult” at QB. So they go out and secure a QB with Watson’s baggage at an extreme opportunity cost in draft picks….

The only thing that will make this Watson to CLE trade even funnier is when CLE has to either stick with Baker on the roster or take pennies on the dollar for him. I guarantee they gave up all those 1sts expecting to get at least 2 back for baker. I don't see any team giving up more than a single 1st. And baker wants Indy, who doesn't have a 2022 first.

Oh yeah, and then CLE gives Watson the largest QB contract ever. Morons.

tbh, i was nervous when the Panthers were originally involved. Thankfully, the Panthers are such a dumpster fire that not even a sexual predator would be interested in them.

Does he? Watson took the 2nd most sacks in the NFL in 2020 (49) only 1 behind Wentz (50). Mayfield finished 16th w 26.

I remember the Bears getting to him 7 times in a December game, one of the last games he played.
