Don’t know where the radio booth is, but I was at the Vikings/Seahawks playoff game where Blair Walsh missed the short FG at the end of the game. We were sitting straight up from the endline. Everyone around me was cheering because they thought he made it. I knew he missed because I watched the fans behind the uprights. Different angles can be hard to decipher. He made a mistake in announcing it before he knew for sure.

With that said, that announcer is a moron and I’m not defending him. Just saying I understand how it is possible to not be 100% sure.

How does someone miss a FT. How does a WR drop a pass. How does a pitcher walk someone with the bases loaded?
