I personally think Chip Kelly will get LSU turned around if people don't turn on him. LSU was in a tougher spot than people expected when he took over.
We knew where LSU was. This is a total "start over-rebuild" season. He gets this season and next season to get it together. However, if 2024 isn't more than respectful, then the shit could hit the fan. Also, if 2023 becomes a dumpster fire, the shit could hit then. Most LSU fans know what the score is. LSU is a long ways down and it's a long way back. With the new coaches and the portal, the way back shouldn't be quite as long. Patience, Grasshopper.

One other thing. Great game yesterday. Glad to see Tenn. get that monkey off their shoulder. Now, as long as they don't have too big a let down next week. Haven't checked the schedule, so don't know who they are playing or if they have an off week.

I just realized that I put Chip Kelly  . Thank you for understanding that I meant Brian Kelly.

We get UT Martin, then Kentucky in Knoxville, then travel to Georgia.

After that, we got Missouri at home, at South Carolina (I think this game could be dangerous for us), and then at Vanderbilt to finish things off.

We have had a more manageable schedule the last 2-3 years versus times in the past in my opinion. I noticed that Georgia has been moved further back on the schedule and we get more byes/OOC breaks in that October gauntlet.

Florida got pimped as a "great team" because they barely beat Utah at home. Catapulted to like #12 in the polls from unranked.

Then Kentucky got pumped up based off of beating them, which then Ole Miss got really pumped up based off of beating Kentucky,

Now Florida is a 3 loss team who just lost by 10 to a mediocre LSU team at home, this shortly after lucking out to beat a awful South Florida team.

This is how they keep these mediocre SEC teams hyped up as "GREAT TOUGH TESTS!" for the couple of actually good teams.
