LSU is honoring Army with specially painted camouflage end zones in Tiger Stadium

There are specially painted end zones in Tiger Stadium for when LSU hosts Army this Saturday night.

LSU revealed Wednesday it has painted the end zones in a camouflaged pattern with the LSU logo in the middle in black.

"The respect and the honor that we have in playing this game, we're excited about this weekend," LSU coach Brian Kelly said.

LSU is playing Army inside Tiger Stadium for the first time at 6:30 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network.

Next time you should include a photo that has the end zone in it, not just a photo of the field and an invisible area where the end zone paint job will eventually be.

Last time we played them we never saw the end zone. They shut us out!

LSU and Army have played only once previously.

That game was at West Point back in 1931, and Army won, 20-0.

And there will undoubtedly be some simple minded protestors outside the stadium who have a knot in their panties over anything that is too American/militaristic/conservative/right wing/Nazi/patriotic/whatever.

I'll need to see evidence of that this weekend. Seems unlikely in Baton Rouge.

Good thing Les Miles isn't coaching LSU anymore or they'd struggle to find the end zone.

Love to see teams give respect to Army. Its an honor and privilege to play them
