It's...ok. Well acted but pretty dry. Odenkirk plays an author (wrote one book) and professor at a low tier college. He's got a father that was really successful in the same field but has been estranged from the family for some time. Hank feels like he doesn't measure up since he only wrote one book and is stuck at that low university. There's other people in the cast and its a lot of tenure talk, what makes a good writer talk, etc. This is definitely a niche audience type of show. So far (like 3 or 4 episodes in) there hasn't been much of anything to warrant watching another season. It's not bad, but its not very good either. It's just kinda there.
