Every time Texas plays Arkansas, they either lose or barely escape. I think Arkansas has a winning record against the Horns since joining the SEC.

yep 3-2 and they play in Fayetteville next season

Playing the game. Based on the media (which is dubious), UTA has wanted to schedule an OOC game with A&M again and the Aggies won't do it. Back when the Aggies first moved, they were begging Texas for the game so it is a wierd switch. They need to play again.

Yeah it's not happening which is sad, grew up watching that game on Turkey Day. Hell they won't play any Big 12 Texas school. Few seasons ago they were lined up to play Tech, but instead LSU got that slot and they went and played in TN i think. Even when UT was available to play them in Houston, Mizzu got the slot and they went elsewhere.

Only time they may meet up is in the CFP and that's a REEEEEEEAAAAAAAACCCCCCHHHHHHHH of ever coming into fruition

In all honesty I wouldn't mind if TEXAS played Ark more.. not at a neutral site (dumb) but home and home.. To me they still feel out of place in the SEC.. in the last 30 years of being there, who is their go to rival? LSU?

LOL yes she knows.. but my dear old friend is married. Her husband is a criminal defense lawyer in BR. Whenever I take the long route to visit my family in Austin, I spend a couple days with them. They too, were disappointed of the cancellation of the game

Even before joining the SEC, they had rivalries with LSU and Ole Miss. Arkansas' only real rival in Big12 was Texas.

I know they haven't been competitive but they have LSU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Missouri as border rivals. I think they fit better in SEC than the Big12. Arkansas is a southern state and not a great plains state.

See there's a couple LSU people I know and they never thought of Arkansas as a rival, even though they share a border. Hell they get more fired up playing Bama and FL than border state MSU/Ole Miss.

I know that okie light has a series with Arkansas coming up which is big. I figured if you took the money out of the equation..Arkansas would do better playing ou/osu/ksu/bu/ut/tcu which they all are closer to, than Baton Rouge.
