$22,000 repair bill. Hahaha That's more than the car was worth if the battery was still good!

I read somewhere that Tesla was the most valuable car company in the world. I also read they had never reported a profit before last year. They sold less than a million vehicles worldwide. By comparison, Ford sells over 4 million vehicles worldwide each year.

Can anyone explain this? Why would a company that only reported a profit in one year of production and that delivered less than a 1/4 of the products that Ford Motor Company did, be the most valuable car company in the world? It makes no sense. The bubble will burst and soon the company will have to answer to their shareholders.

Whoever said the market was logical? And besides, you can lose money selling 4 million vehicles a year. Ask GM.

Most likely propped up by government "green" subsidies.

Remember all the solar companies that went bust even though the govt had given them $billions in subsidies?

Yep. Best way to scam the feds in the 2000's and 2010's was to call yourself a 'solar company' and rake in the grant subsidies.

CEO's and their VP's walked away with $millions after those companies went bankrupt.
