Florida got stomped by Oregon State and now Missouri is getting thumped by Wake Forest.

I am seriously worried about Tennessee's chances against Clemson. I would love for Tennessee to finish in top 10 but they really need to win bowl game. Worried that this will be a tough ask.

SEC always lays eggs in these bowl games, partially because so many players opt out.

Tennessee, by A LOT

Between opt outs, late season injuries, and now the early signing season, bowls just don't mean much anymore.

Used to be that bowls were your last chance to impress potential recruits, now early signing makes even that last excuse to care non existent.

Which conf/team that wins them? Doesn't really matter now.

I know... if they gave out these fucking awards like the Heisman in January, it would solve a lot of problems. I don't know why they give the awards so early.

They do the same shit every year, they give the Heisman to someone that runs up stats with a shitty schedule and then gets exposed in Playoffs/Bowl games and then later in NFL as being mediocre. Dumbass system for awarding players. Wait until Mid-January and then pick the Heisman and all of the other awards. It would force players to play in post season since it would actually count.

Both teams had opt outs and not that many really. 2 on Wake, 3 on Missouri.

Missouri had 0 guys opt out from their offense. They should be tearing up Wake's porous defense.

Yeah the crappy teams have less opt-outs because the players know they have 0 chance of NFL. Opt-outs only happen when players think they have NFL potential. You will see more "upsets" as a result.

I want what you are smoking? I think Clemson has the advantage :(. Then again, Clemson doesn't have a QB and that is a big deal.
I dunno bout that, he is young but he has also looked REAL good in spots. Both teams are going to be missing players but I think Clemson has the advantage TBH.

2-3 opt outs?! Obviously both teams don't want to be there

Then again, SEC teams are 6-6 and they are playing 9-3 and 7-5 teams.

You have to google and google who is out and who is playing before you think about betting or playing Pickems, or even a friendly discussion with a friend.

Still doesn't matter. SEC sucks.
10 bowl games. 4 wins? Miss St. might have a chance, now that Ill. lost their top RB. Hell, that bastard child Mizzu might even win tonight. So, 5 wins?

And the attendance at these lesser bowls is really pathetic.

Did Florida lose to Vandy earlier in the season?

Yeah, Klubnik's young but IIRC he was one of the best QBs in Texas. Comes from the Westlake program which has been pretty damn salty.
