I was on a panel to be seated for a jury last week for a guy accused of multiple felonies, including aggravated sexual abuse of a child. During questioning the lawyer asked if after the facts are heard and you still find him guilty, would you be able to consider the minimum sentence or would you only go for the max. The range for that one was 20-99 years.
He didn't like my response and I was not picked for the jury. My response was "can I put death penalty on the table?".
