Man, you ain't lying. I mean these kids can go to whatever team, then a month or two, or even shorter time frame, the coach, coordinator, etc. can leave for other jobs. The order of the things they have instituted with the expansion of everything is downright ultimate comedy. I mean it is like having the guy that paints the endzones heading up all of college football.

But really has it grown? It’s admitting a college degree is worthless. It makes more money now but is that really cause of college or that the NFL made football popular worldwide, tv execs are spending stupid money for content and NIL isn’t just behind closed doors? Not sure you can say it’s progress when a kid gets a scholarship for the football season and bails before it’s over.

While I agree, it is ALL about money now.

I can't think of one recent CFB decision that has been made where the deciding factor was not money. Can anyone think of one?

Maybe UNLV and a couple of others turning down the offer from the runaways to the PAC 12? But they wasn't a guaranteed money amount so that one may have been about money.

I don’t have a problem with it being all about money but just cause there is more money involved doesn’t mean the sport is progressing or thriving. Look at the NBA and the PGA, more money than ever but nowhere near the interest level in the past.

But I also think if you are on scholarship you must finish the season. Or have a buyout like coaches have.

They gotta change the entry to portal to the mid to end of Jan so this doesn't happen to the Bowls.

That would be great if they could also deal with spring enrollment deadlines for the new schools. Or just say screw it, you don’t have to be a “student” this semester.

Sounds easy. But it is going to require quite a bit of flexibility.
