Day waits way too long in game to switch something when things aren't working. We had 32 yards rushing or something pathetic and the rushing and passing attempts were still pretty much dead equal at 21and 22. Finally switches and they start throwing the ball the rest of the way out and went up and down the field.
The way this offensive line is playing Ohio State can't be a "run to set up the pass" team. Going to have to be the opposite
Still a lot of season to go, hopefully we can develop further because this is not a championship team and there is a real possibility we lose to both PSU and UM.
Offensive line is sus. McCord is sus. Henderson is injured again and can’t be counted on. The offense is carried by Marvin Harrison Jr. He has bailed out numerous bad balls from McCord.
Defensive line is average compared to past classes. Secondary is still getting exposed. Defense hasn’t hurt us yet, but the signs that they’ll perform like past years is there.
I hate being negative but they have not passed the eye test. They were lucky to beat ND. They were lucky Maryland ran out of steam. Lucky Tagoviola made some boneheaded plays. Days body language on the sideline yesterday was worrying. When we got stuffed in the red zone he looked like he was going to have to order a pizza after the game.
