If the #4 ranked team in the nation is excited they are going to halftime up over Maryland, they shouldn't be the #4 ranked team.

Early rankings are BS … you aren’t a good team until you beat a good team on the road. Michigan ain’t there yet. I’ll be happy with a victory. I do have Michigan (-17), but that is just an obligatory weekly $20.

Agree about early rankings. You get odd things like teams being ranked ahead of teams they just lost to. :pop2:

I'll concede that. And Michigan did get a gift on that interception (that looked like it hit the ground). But I still wouldn't say anyone's "dominating" like Klatt was trying to imply.

True... Looks like Corum has almost as many yards in one half as #6 Texas A&M did in the entire game against App State. Those early rankings ain't all that.

Not really, A&M lost that game. A spade a spade would be saying something like "some people's team never has a bad day because they only cheer for the winning team".
 
I just typed above. Michigan = not battle tested. They play like this the rest of the season, they won't sniff the B1G champs game.

I was more referring to start of season rankings. Michigan played a super Charmin soft OOC schedule. They are not the 4th ranked team, just like A&M wasn't #6. Gotta put them somewhere I guess.

I did write that. And I stand by that. A&M shouldn't have been ranked #6 after losing to App St. No arguing there from me at all.
