I don't know what it is, but Matt Rhule seems to be everywhere. For some reason this guy is popping all over the place. He's on podcasts or whatever those social media talk shows are, he's making headlines for canceling their spring game. The man seems to be all over the place and not a couple days go by where I don't see his name somewhere being mentioned in something.
He is all of the place that I thought, 'man Nebraska must have a great recruiting class, or they must be showing momentum somewhere in football for him to be getting his name plastered all over the place and getting all these podcasts.' So I looked. Nope. These guys have mediocre recruiting class, no big names to look forward to, they've actually lost some of their coaching staff. The only thing they have is that QB who looks like Mahomes, which I haven't heard much about since the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl.
My guess is Rhule see's all this time and energy he is putting out there and seeing zero results that push his program in a positive light, and maybe he realizes this and this is his way of putting his name out there to other AD's and a way to get offered from another school to get out of Nebraska. It just seems like a lot of work for literally nothing.
