Meetchickens cheating

I don't really look at it as an accomplishment. Ryan Day is the head coach and the defense has had a NIL deal with Charmin the last two years.
2021 no question the defense did. We had no actual leadership and that defense was dogshit, and your offense just methodically beat us up all day.

This past year, Knowles definitely made some playcalling blunders but for the majority of the game, your offense was shut down. McCarthy had 3 long TD throws on inexplicably stupid defensive playcalling on our part, but only completed 9 of his other 21 attempts for 74 yards. Also, Edwards was completely shut down until the late 4th. Those two runs were outstanding but before that, he averaged under 3 YPC.

It's unfair to put all the long plays on bad defensive playcalls. UM's players beat your defense on a few of those plays. Edward's first run required him to beat two defenders in your secondary. The two long pass plays had our WR juke your safety out of position and beat a DB on tackle. Same with the long TE TD in the first part of the 3rd. The only one that was truly just a bad defensive play call was Edward's second long run. All of the other plays had OSU players in position to stop the play and they didn't.

It's bad play calling when you know your DBs arent good enough to cover 1 on 1 without any help

Two guys in coverage:

3 guys in coverage, two people to cover...and even better, one of them falls down. So it was really 3 on 1 but your defenders stopped.

I still say the turning point of the game was that stupid fucking head butt

We started at the Michigan 48, had a holding penalty and then that stupid fucking head butt on the same play which push us ALL THE WAY BACK to our own 27 for a 1st and 35, which of course we went 3 and out and punted. Michigan promptly scored on the next drive to basically end the game, going up by 11.

This play was one that just showed the incompetence of our whole secondary. Georgia did the same shit.

It's hilarious that Ronnie Hickman declared for the draft, anyone from this secondary going pro is laughable.

How is that first play two guys in coverage? Eichenberg is just running towards the play after it's been caught and Cam Brown completely missed on the tackle. Eichenberg was not in coverage on that play

Even if Eichenberg was in coverage. The slow white LBer covering a WR is always a awful play call.

See Tuf Borland trying to cover Bama WRs in the CFP Title game.

That's not Eichenberg, it's 6'5", 265 Jack Sawyer. He was definitely not in coverage on that play.

go ask Harbs why he ran from the game. I bet it has something to do with a decade of losing.
Or...........here me out............it has to do with the national pandemic, the same reason Ohio "ran" from Illinois.

Ohio fans sure are desperate now that is has been 3+ years since they've beaten Michigan.

Uhhhh your defensive coordinator had ZERO confidence your front 7 could handle UM's offensive line, so you were going to cover 0 and having LB shoot the gaps on almost every play, even though the worst part of your defense was your secondary.

So don't say "stupid play calling" -- it was necessary play calling, because you got to see what happened when you didn't stack the box.

It is so funny to listen to the excuses from OSU fans. Also to hear you say how you shut down Michigan's offense majority of the game, while giving up 45 points. Let me guess -- you also shut down Georgia most of the game too.

You're right. Pic was blurry and for some reason my eyes saw 35 the first time I looked

The first TD pass he was in single coverage and we had no safety. #33 is a DE/OLB that weighs 255+ lbs, not a safety, and he isn't in coverage. It was impressive that he almost somehow made the tackle though.

Your second TD was honestly a trash throw from McCarthy but the guy was so wide open (again, nobody else back there to help) that he was able to adjust back to the ball and still had nobody near him.

The third TD pass honestly was on us, so you're right. I won't put that on Knowles, two of our DBs got tangled up and one fell so he was wide open.

At any rate, my point is the 2021 game was dramatically different from 2022. You had to rely on big plays, several of which were coaching blunders on our part, in order to score because otherwise your offense wasn't doing anything. Now of course, Knowles had better have learned from those mistakes next year and not try and be careless again.

So on one second you are showing us pics saying Ohio State had guys in coverage and in this one you are saying they were in cover zero the whole game. Which one is it?

LOL what happened when we didn't stack the box? Dude your offense didn't do crap outside of those 5 big plays.
