Meetchickens cheating

I think everyone should ignore NCAA investigators.

That was not the attitude of the Michigan fan base when they were beating on Tressel for lying to NCAA investigators. Let me guess though "THATS DIFFERENT!"

More proof that the whole "success with honor" crap that Michigan vomits out is bullshit,

That was back in the day when the NCAA was going after the real bad guys in the sport. Duh.

But just to be clear, Ohio State lied and covered up level 1 violations. Michigan committed level 2 violations, which most teams do every year, and the level 1 violation seems like Harbaugh wasn't cooperating with their investigation of the level 2 violations. This is nonsense.

No honor or integrity not complying with the governing body.

god damn, this is so fucking ridiculous. Via Chris Balas on the Michigan Rivals site:

"the reason Jim got a Level One, apparently, is because two committed recruits stopped by during COVID for an impromptu visit and he took them to the Brown Jug for a Jug burger in the morning. They found a receipt, but I guess he wasn't completely honest about it."

Level 1 violations that provide zero competitive advantage whereas the level 2 one actually do

What's the competitive advantage from not being forthcoming about taking two committed prospects, who stopped by your office unexpectedly during covid, out for a hamburger? The level 1 is for not being forthcoming with information. There is 0 competitive advantage linked to it.

Also, providing benefits to players and advertising those financial benefits to recruits absolutely does give a team an advantage.

Ohio State never advertised getting gold pants or other awards and trading them for financial gain. So no competitive advantage.

Michigan is also be accused for extra practice and meeting time and recruiting during a down time when no one was doing it. Extra practice time is most definitely more of a competitive advantage

LOL@ Covid Dead period.

Some schools cancelled their seasons, others played 5 games, some more than that. Players were granted another year of eligibility just because....

So 20 mins of extra practice resulted in beating Ohio St?
