Oscar Isaac is awesome, and I’ve generally liked the director’s movies. That being said, it's a video game movie so I have little faith it’ll be good.

I don't know, I guess it is an okay casting. But it's a real shame that it's almost 2021 yet we still gotta cast some white guy as Snake. It's time for a black trans Snake.

I don't mind Isaac, but I just have a hard time envisioning him for this role. Not based on the look, but based on demeanor, toughness, and just general badassery. Snake was a straight up badass and you could hear it in his voice (at least from what I remember from the games lol. Only played the first 2 or 3), so I wonder if Isaac will be able to pull off a good, natural-sounding, badass raspy voice
