Pretty good weekend football wise except yesterday. HS alma mater dominated in the championship game in IN. 2 semi local OH teams won over 2 other sorta semi local teams I dislike to make it to state. Saturday getting a victory over OSU for the 4th straight time at their place in a game they were supposedly getting revenge at the highest level.

Great weekend started Thursday with Thanksgiving at home whilst watching the Lions game.
Went to my parents after the game where predicted family drama ensued. Sisters got into a nice yelling match pre-dinner setting the tone. Ended with one of them disappearing then leaving quietly.
Saturday was obviously historic.
Relaxed yesterday watching even more football. Eagles and Vikings both looking really good. Gonna be tight down the stretch.
Lions play the Pack at home on Thursday in what is basically a must-win game because things could fall apart fast with an L combined with his well these other teams are playing.

Morning all
Had a fun time in Vegas. Friday night practically had to drag my friend out of vegas. Told him i was spent and needed to leave soon, ok one more....fine....ok, let's go play some roulette, ok fine. Drink girl comes buy, ok one more...more roulette, finish drink thinking we're going to go, lets go play some craps, sigh, ok fine. Drink girl comes by, ok one more. play craps for while, drink girl comes by, drink girl comes by, "No I'm good"...my buddy, "Ok one more".......I was like dude, I am spent, we need to head out soon.....
Saturday was a bit more tame, went to UNLV game, it was cool to see new stadium, went to mediocore comedy show.....
Sunday watched NFL games, vikings had too much turkey and waited until the 4th quarter to show up. Nursed a few beers mixed in with a lot of water and diet coke, after late games time to get to the airport. When I checked in, I was assigned a middle seat, but in the front of the plane, well front of main cabin and only open seats that werne't middle were in the back, so I kept it. Smart thing as I had the entire row to myself....so that was a perk especially since I bought cheapest ticket available, but I have the airline credit card, so I get treated special.

Showed up at the in-laws' house around 3 on Thursday expecting to help set their table up, relax a few minutes, and then finish cooking dinner. Wound up having to cook the turkey because they decided not to contact anyone when the turkey still appeared frozen. Turkey wasn't actually frozen, there was just a little bit of ice still in the cavity and the neck was still in there. The actual meat was defrosted. So I seasoned the turkey and started cooking that, then did the rest of the planned cooking. Dinner wound up being nice.
Finished fixing the tub on Friday. Shut off valves that I put in on Wednesday worked. Cleaned up the house some. Got started on Christmas shopping Saturday while my parents had the kids. Yesterday Ham had a short performance to promote a bigger show in two weeks.

Opening day of gun season (Deer) here. Windchill was 15 this morning. It was pretty nice because I was the only one in the woods. Heading back out later this afternoon

It was a bit up tight and pretentious and going for speakeasy vibe....we were only white people there. We almost left
You had to press a buzzer to be let in
Hostess: Do you have a reservation
Me: No
Hostess: What's the password
Me: No clue, we're here for a drink, didn't know we needed one
Hostess: Mutters something unintelligible.......at this point we were about to turn around leave
Guy behind me in an exasperated voice: It's (I don't recall)
Hear sound door click, lady lets us in and puts as at crappy table right by door despite bar being 1/2 full at best
Drinks were good. The DJ came over to us and chatted us up as well, not sure if we were being too loud and politely were trying to quiet us down, wondering why two white guys where there, or just being friendly in general..
The guy that followed us in didn't stay long with his group of friends, I think he was annoyed with whole set up too. Somehow gets high reviews. Drinks were good, music was good, but very annoying set up
