Michigan yanks Harbaugh's contract extension

This fanbase is united against the blatant attack by NCAA leakers and the media against our program. Repeating the same news story as breaking news every day at the same time is deliberate. The freight train is coming for the buckeyes in November, the NCAA can't help you now.
I love this, it doesnt matter if it true. All that matters is MI would have gotten away with this if not for those pesky kids.

"gotten away with" something that isn't illegal. Just a punch of whiny coaches who are mad we found a loophole.

Things that aren't explicitly banned by NCAA rule are therefor legal. You can't cheat by doing something legal.

Would you expect anything that comes out of Harbaugh's mouth NOT to be weird? Guy is a great football coach, but he is out there. Eclectic is the best way to describe him.
It's certainly the nicest

It is understandable why you hate him. It is the same reason UM's fan despise Ryan Day. It is what it is.

As a Michigan fan -- I have no issue hearing the guy is strange or out there. I think he is strange and out there. Whatever he does within the program -- the players absolutely love him. So that's all I care about.

I can say this though -- off the field and the spotlight. He is a very nice guy. His son plays 10u travel baseball. He will go to alot of the tournies he plays and he will take pictures with everyone. My kids team followed him around for like an hour trying to find a way to ask him to take a pic and he finally walked over and shook hands with each kid and took a team picture with them all.

I don't hate him, that's far too strong of an emotion. He is extremely, extremely weird though. The recruiting trail antics, acting like a soap opera actress with his dramatics on the sidelines, and honestly his flirtation with the NFL wouldn't have me liking him much if I were a michigan fan either.

Scott Frost to Michigan?
Think he'd be available this year? We may need someone to beg for votes from the CFP committee if they try to hold the Stallion stuff against UM. Frost was really good at begging for votes back in the day. :hide:

he was actually spotted on the field after an Oregon game last week with Tony Tuioti who used to coach DL at Nebraska with frost and left Frost to go to Oregon. I'm sure he ends back up at oregon in some role.

Every coach has soap opera antics on the sidelines. Hell -- your coach carried it over to the post game interview after being ND. Saban has broken like 100 pairs of headphones slamming them on the ground. Screaming and yelling, throwing fits at the refs -- it is part of the job.

And the NFL stuff doesn't bother me at all. Only a handful of coaches in the world reach the pinnacle of the coaching profession. The fact Michigan has one of those coaches is great. The fact he has been out of the NFL for almost a decade and teams still reach out tells you how he is viewed as a coach.
