Saw Barnwell had his up today. I like to read Barnwell as he has good analysis often. I just wish he would get the hell away from ESPN soon. They have his article today behind the pay wall. Fuck faces.

So how about it then...at the midway point who’ve you got for MVP, Off and Def Players of the Year and Off and Def Players of the year?

I’m not sure about a few and need to think....but I’m still leaning Russ for MVP and Herbert for Off ROY.

Russ dropped back a spot or two after yesterdays disaster. Can't be turning the ball over 4x's

MVP 1. Rodgers
2. Wilson
3. Kamara

RotY...Herbert

You’re right. I just watched highlights this weekend and missed Russ throwing that many INTs. I’m actually going to elevate Kamara than. Rogers has been Rogers as usual, I’m just not moving him up over the impact Kamara has had for his team.

And I should have not broken out Off and Def on these awards. No need to be complicated.

Certainly Herbert on the ROY. But could Tua make a charge? Yes, he can.

Interested to hear why you would put Rodgers and Wilson over mahomes?

Good point. I think Kamara is a better all around player with Cook being a better RB.

Toss up betwixt the two in my opinion.
but in words of "Most Valuable Player" Cook is to me by far the top RB "this season"

Russ has been in dumbass land 2 of the last 3 games. Bad passes in the redzone resulting in ints and than add in the two fumbles on Sunday, he's dropped below Rodgers at this point. Not sure if the MVP talk has creeped into his head or just trying too much to bail out the defense. Probably a bit of both but decision making has to get better.

Here's there too but both guys have played 1 less game and have close to equal numbers. Once week 17 is wrapped up it'll be Wilson, Rodgers and Mahomes fighting it out for MVP

How can you not put Mahomes on the mvp list? Have you watched him this year? He makes defenses look silly

He's right up there up but Rodgers and Wilson have almost the same numbers with one less game played. After this week is over all 3 guys will have played the same amount of games and it'll be fun to watch them battle it out the rest of the way for the MVP

Seriously, if the MVP award really meant Most Valuable Player, then Big Ben would win it hands down, if you compare the difference from the Steelers being an 8-8 team last year to 8-0 right now and Ben being the only real difference.

BUT, as long as I can remember, MVP has always stood for MBest VQuarterback Play

Most screwed by coaching staff is the Patriots. If they weren't so cheap Brady wouldn't have left and even if he did Cam would have the structure around him.

Cheap bastards are killing their accomplishments.

I see what you're saying. Russ would also be in that convo cause the Hawks would contending for the top pick in the draft every year. Ben should win the come back player of the year award.

Along with Rodgers. GB without Rodgers is 2000s Browns
