Could you imagine taking Minnesota -19.5? Not this guy. I’m not an idiot

So when does Bateman opt back out now?

If your team loses to the worst coach in the FBS, what does that say about your coach?

The biggest question about Fleck was his ability to recruit/develop the defensive side of the ball.

8 of the top 11 recruits in 2018 were offensive players. That's where there is the lack of depth right now. He's only recruited 1 four star on defense in his tenure and that was in the 2020 class so that kid is a FR. His 2021 class actually has some impressive defensive recruits coming in, but that won't help this season. I thought they'd take a step back this season(not losing to MD bad though). Their schedule is pretty easy the rest of the way, so they'll have to win some shootouts. I'm guessing 2/3 wins.

That was my first thought. Why would any nfl players stick around for this.

Especially with the way they are calling games. They aren't throwing it nearly as much as they did last year. Throwing it 15 including an OT session is grounds for getting fired. I'm not surprised given who the OC is. He was the OC at ND in 2016 when we went 4-8 and had NFL guys all over the field on offense. Like seriously we had two top 10 O-line picks, a 2nd rounder at QB, 2 NFL RB's, 3 NFL WR's and an NFL TE, and fucking 4-8. It should also be noted he was at Utah St last year and Jordan Love regressed big time last year.
