GAME Minnesota @ Nebraska 11am CT FS1

Over Reaction is on now. John Bishop said that Minnesota had 30 players out and their defense is the worst... in the FBS in some category. We averaged less yards per play by an entire yard than the next team against Minnesota.

Gophers were ranked 117th in defensive efficiency coming into the game. And yes the Gophers were playing without 33 players, I believe was the number. Nebraska managing 308 total yards against this defense is awful.

There needs to be a LOT of coaching changes. Offense has been completely inept against a bad Gopher defense
Bad? That's rather kind assessment

Tim Brewster has a better b1g win % than frost

Ouch

He needs to find an oc
Are you tired of the ineffective swing passes and runs to the sidelines to?
The offensive game planning and adjustments in game are pitiful. Martinez is hurt and it showed, bad coaching and sports medicine decisions also.

Yes. Pretty much anything to do with the offensive game plans we've witnessed.

If your QB could hit wide open deep passes, welp
While hitting those 3 passes would have certainly made it a different game, the problems with this offense goes way beyond the deep passing plays.

Nevermind that once again there were 2 crucial penalties that both benefitted Minnesota and both were horrible calls. The first was the targeting call that ejected Cam Taylor-Britt that the refs on the field didn't even think was worthy of tossing out a flag for. The other is the imaginary holding on the play that led to a TD with like 5 minutes left in the game. It went from a TD to 3rd and 18 annnnnd there was no holding. It wasn't questionable, it wasn't ify, no... it didn't exist in the slightest.

Also, asking for a friend... was Minnesota called for holding at all or just Nebraska? I don't remember.

Damn, that was a truly awful performance from Nebraska. Seems like the players/coaches only respond/show up when they are being doubted(see the Purdue/Iowa games). Didn't show up against Illinois after beating PSU, didn't show up today after beating Purdue. Both games they were pretty heavy favorites in.

I still think Frost will be back, but I thought for sure, that by now, they wouldn't be at the bottom of the B1GW.
i think it's becoming obvious that hiring G5 coaches is such a crapshoot

none of this shit makes sense

By rule that was targeting, you may not like it, but it's the rule. MN is no stranger being on losing end of targeting

The hold was pretty tic tac

Nebraska had plenty of chances To win and get past 2 calls

Bad Mechanics from Martinez showed up again in the 2nd half. A lot of throwing off his back foot.

We show flashes of being a much improved team but are plagued with just not making the plays when it matters. 2nd in the country over 3 years in 1 score losses. People like to point to the tangibles but I really think it's a matter of poise and belief at this point.

Bottom line is that Frost has, most likely, 2 more years before his job is in jeopardy.

Frost completely loved his offensive game plan and that's troubling. Coach is like the little kid that hid in the corner, crapped his pants, and defends his supposition that he didn't soil himself even though he stunk up the room and two turds dropped out of his pants and hit the floor.

If frost can't pull it together I'm going to have to stop watching huskers football for medical reasons, every year my anxiety gets worse, for the first time in a long long time I watched basketball over football the other night cretin v huskers( think boone and piatkowski) the last time I watched huskers basketball this time of year except it wasn't on tv. I keep saying this but my ulcer due to all the other stress is going to make it real. Go Big Red. Pull your shit together please

Super excited to play the Huskers next year.
