If this was completely random, I guess it could be forgiven, but it seems suspect to do this in a real season- why not in spring training or practices only? I don’t have a Business Inside subscription so I haven’t read the whole story.

Some of the decrease in homers this year can be directly attributed to Christian Yelich's ongoing struggles at the plate.

COTDAMNIT
It can also be attributed to the Astros getting caught stealing signs & relaying them to the plate. I highly doubt the Stros were the only team doing it. Once they got outed, other teams stopped. Who knows, maybe Yeli had inside track on pitches and that's why he was so effing good those first couple years in MKE.

And it can be attributed to pitchers using sticky stuff. After the crackdown mid-season, offensive numbers spiked.

never really did anything for me, to be honest.

I prefer her focus to be elsewhere
So by "her" you're referring to your mom's Cocker Spaniel?

Uh...whichever baseball they used after the trade deadline and in the playoffs they need to keep using. I really enjoyed that ball

As with everything, COVID is being blamed here. As if COVID prevented MLB from saying "Sorry guys, we can't find enough of the same ball so we will be changing the ball and here are the differences".

Great timing for the story to come out too. Maybe in the CBA the MLBPA needs to add "any change of equipment mid-season must be communicated to all players and teams.

I’d like this kid to suffer serious finger injuries. Horrible, crippling finger injuries.
Was he ever a player or does he just have a blue check because he’s Gary Sheffield’s son?

he's a jounalist for Outkick Your Coverage
Odd name. To me "outkick your coverage" means you married someone way hotter than you.

yea, well it is also a football reference where the kicker kicks the ball too far that the receiving team has time to return the ball without and defenders nearby

Yup. Just don't hear that used as much as my version :)
