we want more hitting that sustains rallies rather than hitting to ceases rallies. Cleared bases take all the pressure off the pitcher. Clogged bases keep pressure on the pitcher.
Stop manufacturing the baseball to exploit home run counts.

Hopefully it'll lead to better baseball. I can't think of a more selfish act in baseball than a hitter being willing to leave that runner on third with one out because he's swinging for the fences with 2 strikes.
