Appears the Mets have made an offer to the Nationals for Josh Bell.
 
Its gonna be interesting how big the trade market is this season with the expanded playoffs. Teams like the Giants and Redsox would probably be sellers at this point with their recent skids. But they are still only a few games out of the last spot. May have several teams that really have no shot at making noise in the playoffs still trying to be buyers.

Cardinals playing in Washington this weekend. They won last night.

The entire Cards braintrust looks to have made the trip which is unusual. Team owner, president, general manager, asst. general manager, and scouting director all in Washington.

I guess we'll see what happens.
