MLB Trade Deadline Thread

That's a good trade for the Brewers. Hader is broken, Rogers is decent enough and Ruiz has fucking wheels.

I don't think Rogers closes, not with Williams there. I also think Hader is fine, take away the games vs Minnesota and San Francisco and his ERA is around 2.

I think you should be struck with a lead pipe

“We weren’t going to pay him anyway,”

Mancini for a kid who won’t play again until 2024 is the bigger move toward not winning now.

He won't sign with Washington so they either settle for less or let him walk as a free agent.
He doesn't become a free agent until after the 2024 season, tubby tits

The Red Sox trade Christian Vazquez to the Astros

Then turn around and trade for Tommy Pham from the Reds

I could understand one or the other, but not both.

I'll play devil's advocate. I don't think Soto moves.
Definitely a possibility. No urgent need to trade him now if WAS doesn’t like the return

One out of 17 interviewed. That’s pretty shitty odds. Not to mention your article is a week old and things change fast. Literally nobody else has the Brewers as an option. Their farm system is too weak.

Yep. That’s what everyone is saying. Hopefully not the Dodgers if he gets traded
That would make me sick

Athletics sending Montas and Trevino to Yankees

Yeah 9 ER’s in 2 outings. Even if he is a rental he is a big upgrade from Rogers and will help them in the postseason. The main issue with SD is they aren’t better than LA.
