I like that idea. How about we have a 3-6-6-6 Draft?
We must pick 3 from each bucket. Can't use the same team twice.
BUCKET 1 : Orioles : Diamondbacks : Pirates : Rangers : Cubs
BUCKET 2 : Blue Jays : Braves : Royals : Cardinals : Angels
BUCKET 3 : Twins : Yankees : Padres : Mariners : Phillies
BUCKET 4 : Red Sox : Nationals : Giants : White Sox : Brewers
BUCKET 5 : Rays : Mets : Astros : Dodgers : Tigers
BUCKET 6 : Indians : A's : Marlins : Reds : Rockies
We draft
GROUP 1
1. 6 Hall of Famers: MVP winners: Cy Young Winners: Current Players: Prior to 1930 players
GROUP 2
2. 6 players with 4 or more All Star Appearances
GROUP 3
3. 6 players who played in 3 All Star Games or less
Bonds, Clemens, Raffy, ARoid, McGwire all count as HOFers

I was thinking we could also do a salary cap draft where you get so much per decade. Say like $20 million per decade for the 40's, 50's, 60's 70's 80's and 90's.
Catch is, you don't have to take so many players per decade. For example, you could take 3 players that ran $20 million each. Consequence is, you would then have to take your remaining 15 players from the 3 remaining decades
