Bonds, Clemens, Raffy, ARoid, McGwire all count as HOFers

I like that idea.
I was thinking we could also do a salary cap draft where you get so much per decade. Say like $20 million per decade for the 40's, 50's, 60's 70's 80's and 90's.
Catch is, you don't have to take so many players per decade. For example, you could take 3 players that ran $20 million each. Consequence is, you would then have to take your remaining 15 players from the 3 remaining decades

I am all for whatever y'all wanna do but we just did a cap draft but if this is what everyone wants to do ok i'm in.

I'm good with any form of baseball draft, just trying to liven it up. You could do a draft where there is no salary cap but you can't select 2 players with the same last initial. So if you drafted Seaver, that means Speaker, Spahn and Schmidt are off the board
 
What about 4 players from each group based on their 1st year...

Pre 1900s
1920 - 1939
1960 - 1979
2000 and above

And then you get 2 Wild Cards?
 
If you wanted to add another wrinkle to that, we could make it so you can't use the same team twice in your 16 group picks. So, you couldn't pick a Yankee from the 30s and then another Yankee from the 50s. 2 season minimum to count for a team. Wild cards are completely wild.

So, if you want a player from 1900 - 1919 or 1980-1999 you have to use a wildcard?

I'm a little concerned about us drafting what could be 40 players pre 1900. Other than that I likes it!

I would prefer a salary draft too but I also like Nos’ idea

We could tweak the years a little. Maybe 15 year periods. Or 10.
 
Let's do a phase, bucket, cap baseball draft!

Also, should we do an NFL rookie draft this year, I believe we did 7 in a row then havent for like 3 years now.

$25M for any player that started their career prior to 1956
$25M for current players (Miggy & Pujols are current)

3 Players from each bucket. Had to have started 324 games for a team to use the player for said team.

Bucket 2 : Yankees : A's : Blue Jays : Mariners : Rockies

It takes a lot of work to consistently come in last.
