Email from the rv resort we're going to, that I pay for yearly so it's not like I can just cancel and go somewhere else. They say we've had a covid invasion.

No covid through this whole mess that's lasted for months up until today, 2 positive tests today and they're naturally the chatty people who are all involved in every activity so a lot of people down there are having to quarantine now including the resort manager.

Now "because of covid-19" they've combined their bike and board shops into one shop, forcing customers of two different hobbies to all use the same space, doubling the amount of employees in the same space and doing less actual work to get sales "because of covid-19." If this is an example of why small businesses are failing "because of covid-19", I'm okay with that.

Everytime there’s a positive case at our school(s), we get an email. Had about 5 emails through the first 7 weeks.

Got 5 just today. No wonder they shut it down as of this week.
 
just had our bi-weekly Teams call with the senior VP of the company. He recently had COVID and is recovering. Apparently he lost a lot of strength in his hands after getting it and his voice went out before he could finish the meeting, so he started whispering.

Long story. Her dad is ex military and basically stopped talking to her for like a decade when her parents split. They have a special needs daughter they adopted so I think their end game was my wife and I would be in line to tend to her when they died.

When they saw the actual work that was required in managing a two family household (along with helping with my son) they split.

Initially I blamed my wife some but their behavior in leaving swung me over to her side.
