Accurate would be pretty negative to certain individuals. In hindsight I have no clue why I stayed as long as I did

BIL reminds me of you. He has already has an offset smoker and has created a separate patio area for it.

Next, he wants to buy a welder so he can build his own version.

I've got an offset smoker/grill, but I'm kicking around going out and living the @PnkPanther life, and just using the offset for my grill and buying a drum smoker.

But I'd love to have a patio area with a shed attached for smoking/grilling

when I covered/screened my deck I shortsightedly left a 10x10 section at the side uncovered. Yesterday was so hot that I pulled the smoker into the screened section rather than having to stand in the baking sun while smoking my tomahawks.
