Good morning good people. Almost had a major disaster during the night. I left an article of clothing on my wife's oxygen condenser and it blocked the air flow to her since the condenser needs to have air flowing through it's back.

I guess the days of having 200 posts are gone, by the time I get online?

Another nothing weekend. I do plan to go to Barnes and Noble either today or tomorrow and buy another half a dozen books. I've made out my list, so I'm ready to go.

Thought for the day: The last week in August was always great with the anticipation of football. It was like when you walked into the room with the hooker and knew something great was going to happen. Now, it's like walking into the room and seeing Betty White.

It's been 35 years since I made my living as a painter so I have a question. What do you do with wood now, just paint it so it looks nice, let it rot, then replace it?

I've had a hard time with brickmold rotting on the outside doors before so when I replaced it this time I used oil paint instead of latex. That was last summer.

This summer the shit is peeling off.

I blame the green wood they sell nowadays but that doesn't really help me.

I guess I could put aluminum covers over all of it.
 
So BIL told my in-laws last night. They were pretty pissed is all he said. MIL asked if he was going to get married. I don't know if they actually did and aren't saying or haven't yet. He wanted to on my wife's birthday and she told him he better not do it on her birthday. Wife told the SIL. She actually took it well since he was trying to take her thunder. Just wish the SIL & her BF would make their engagement official and let us know if they are truly wanting to get married quickly even though they want a semi normal process instead of eloping.

What it feels like. Evidently they still plan on moving into my in-laws rental (where my BIL) has been. I'd have went to her place even if it is a little cramped until they got their own place. I have a feeling BIL is getting thrown out and they'll sell it.
