If you do reverse sear pull around 125-130. Between resting and searing, it'll go up few more degrees and should get what you want

My MIL overcooks prime rib every year. One year she said she takes hers off at medium rare, I about choked, no you serve yours medium well. If I get a very center piece I might luck out and get some that is medium

Mama is a Chargers fan...or was before they went to LA

Dad is a WFT fan though, so surprised he is going with it
 
Got the rest of the foyer painted. Now the rest of the inside decorations can be complete while I finish the stairway.

I'm not sure what's more annoying about painting with a 12'
keeping the roller flat
killing my neck
knocking into the wall behind me with every stroke

Glad that shit is almost over.
 
while not worst part of winter, days are getting awfully short. Dark @ 7am when I wake up, dark at 4:30

Good luck. Lowes was 99% out of lights when I went in there yesterday. Home Depot had a bunch though.

I question how much he had to do with it.

They were 6-10 the year before he took over and they went 13-3 the following year. I find it hard to believe that in one partial offseason, Harbaugh was able to completely turn that team around.

In subsequent seasons, his SF teams went:

11-4
12-4
8-8

...and then he left the team in shambles.

I think it's possible -- if not probable -- that he stepped into two favorable situations at Stanford and SF. Given how he's completely shit the bed in Michigan, I'm not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I went to Lowe's yesterday and picked these up 50% off. They're pretty badass as far as christmas lights go.

I'm going to check out Ace Hardware first...then the other small hardware store.

I saw them in BJs the other day too, so I have options
