If I had to pick just one style, it'd be a nicely trimmed muff above the bits, but I like almost all styles. Not a big fan of completely bare.

1. It was the 180 of what she initially described as ring she wanted
2. It was few hundred over budget. When I gave her budget while we looked, she initially said I didn't to spend that much and that was nuts but then immediately went to one over budget

They all do. Going shopping for a ring is a sure fire way to get laid. Tell her "we have to look at ALL the jewelers to see what is the best".
