A little bit of a lull before the playoff games begin

morning

won my fantasy championship in a league that I am pretty sure only a handful of us actually pay attention in...so not at all satisfying. Part of me wants to get in a better league next season...but I also like not stressing about fantasy football these days.

Temps are in the 50's today and tomorrow...I wish I had time to get out and play tennis. It's been too long.

I finished 5th. Blah.

Picking up new contacts and glasses today. Lions game tonight. Off until the 2nd so not much going on other than getting the house cleaned up. New home was originally scheduled to be finished in April now it’s looking more like August (I’m guessing) but that’s okay. I’m a patient person.

Wife just ordered new specs. She can't wait to get them. Unfortunately she is now going to see what I really look like

Three things I want to see in my lifetime: The Lions win the Super Bowl, Cleveland winning the World Series and Paul Finebaum admit there are teams outside the SEC that deserve to be in the College Football playoffs. Yeah, I know. Good luck on that last one happening.

Well the 1st two are more likely than Paul Finebaum admitting teams outside of SEC

Funny you say that. I decided to grow my beard out after seeing what it really looked like when I was trying on my new glasses lol

I’m in 7th place match. I had 2nd best record in regular season but person I played 1st round of playoffs scored 30+ points above season average. Top 3 seeds all lost 1st round. Then in consolation went against #1 seed and I had 3rd best score of week but lost to best score of season (over 210 points). Kinda unlucky way to finish season

I am in the Championship Game right now.. Sucks that is is Week 17 AND Week 18 so he might come back, especially since most of my players probably won't play in Week 18

FF perpetually frustrates me. I do it strictly as a social thing w my buddies. I’ve been playing forever and won the SB like 2 times.

This year I won a game then the result was reversed after a stat correction. Really annoying.

Finebaum amuses me. He is clearly an SEC homer, yet makes a point to say he is not an SEC homer

I was commissioner of two 12-team fantasy football leagues for 20 years - a work league and a family league. Through my 20's & 30's I was huge into fantasy sports. When I hit 40 my interest began waning sharply. Now, I don't directly participate in any fantasy sports - my interest in managing a fantasy team is completely void; the only connection I have to any variation of fantasy sports these days is I function as a consultant for my brother's dynasty football team. I don't miss it one bit.

Fortunately mine likes facial hair. I hate...hate to shave so I always have some facial hair. The style will change periodically but I hate how my face looks clean shaven. She went on a trip earlier this fall and I let my bachelor beard grow thinking I will have to trim it once she gets back. She loves it.

Glasses? Just get Lasik, so much better.

This was the first year I didn’t play fantasy football in two decades.

It was also the most enjoyable season of watching football that I can remember in a long time.

It’s nice just watching and enjoying games, not worrying about rooting for one team but I don’t want certain guys scoring. Fantasy sports ruins the viewing experience imo.

Hmm Browns fan? I'm calling bullshit.

Some folks can't afford that
I did get it done in South Korea, don't know if I'd trust the dipshits in this country using a laser on my eyes. It was fairly inexpensive.
